WebNov 4, 2004 · isn't the y303 heads with the 2.02/1.60 valves. that might be the problem, a litle too much air flow killing your torque if the block is a 302. changing the postion of the chain will chang where the power kicks in, i usually hear of reatarding the cam 2-4* so the power kicks in earlier. try play with the timing as well, try 14*. also does the car have gears? He'll be pulling it a few more times this weekend, but I'm happy with these numbers for only $4000.00. I'll be updating figures on Monday with the final pulls done.
